I made this really cool long shelf with vintage bottles and maroon lights behind them for very soft and pretty ambient lighting and no I won't be using them for Halloween lol

Had these from September 2018 to June 2021 and kept them on every night - replaced a few bulbs here and there but eventually too many burned out and needed replacing. Very surprised it lasted so long, great product!

We use these at home to try to avoid as much white light at night (blocks serotonin). As long as we have them in our room, dining room and kitchen. This makes the house very cozy at night to turn them on and just relax. I'm still trying to find somewhere to read further - it's not quite right.

75% of my string went out after about 2 weeks. And of course it happened the night before Halloween, so we're really disappointed. We replaced every light bulb in the circuit with a spare bulb and it never came back on. We even replaced both fuses - nothing. This was after a light downpour and the site says they are suitable for outdoor use. It doesn't seem to be. Do not buy!

What should have been a two day delivery turned into a two week delivery. I understand how this happens, but after 3 DAYS two of the five strands blew. Again, I understand that extra bulbs are given for such an occasion, so I checked the filaments to see which ones need replacing. 75% of the bulbs died. It can be seen that the chard is dead. I'm so sad. Not even worth complaining about, but worth writing a review for. Just get cheaper strands of green wire that will last longer.

Love the color (amber instead of orange) and the length was perfect for my use. I was looking forward to donning them for this fall season but was instead disappointed that they didn't light up. Now I'm starting over. I will send them back to the company to see if I get my money back. UPDATE: September 27, 2019 I sent the lights back to Vickerman (postage $12.08). Overall they are great, my only real complaint is that the paint on the bulbs tends to be a bit thin or maybe a little melted/melted where it meets the tungsten lamp element on the inside next is . Glass (the brightest part) so there is some non-amber light in these parts, less penetrating than amber, but not much and most people won't notice.
