The monitor worked fine for about a month. It started to flicker and freeze. I logged out a few times and it worked again. Then it happened again. after 2 days is ok. It happened again, and this time I had to turn off the monitor for several hours. I thought it might be my new laptop and not a monitor. No, it's a monitor. Now it's too late to return the monitor so that's a hundred bucks for a faulty monitor I'm stuck on and can't use. Very upset.

I am using this third laptop monitor and the resolution (1920 x 1080) matches my laptop screen. Nice bright screen and clear picture. As others have pointed out. The on-screen speakers aren't as good as my laptop's native speakers.

I deliberately chose this monitor because I didn't want to buy external speakers when building my computer and it's nice that headphones don't always have to be on. Don't worry about buying this model if that's what you need, the sound quality from the built in speakers is terrible and barely audible even with 100 sounds on the computer lol. Otherwise the pixel quality is very good!

1080 VGA works fine. Crunchy and small. The smallest 1080 monitor I could find cheaply. Doesn't feel cheap. Negative is present.

This monitor can't be beat for the price! I bought it for HTPC use because I couldn't find a TV smaller than 24 inches. Contrast is better than my gaming monitor. Replaced my old monitor with this one. It's much brighter and the resolution is excellent. I already have a 22" monitor which is great too. ViewSonic can't go wrong. They have been making monitors for a long time.

I accidentally bought a 19.5" 1600x900 monitor for my RV. I didn't realize how grainy 1600x900 would be at this size. Switching to this 1920x1080 monitor was a huge improvement. The monitor color stopped working normally after 2 months; I adjusted the color type from sRGB to native to warm hoping it would match the color of my laptop's desktop. I bought 4 of these and I love them. The HD and LED capabilities as well as the DVI inputs are a big improvement over my old monitors. And the price was great too!

Viewsonic won't let me change my shipping address. I ordered it and then Ohio closed and I came home from college. I understand this is for security reasons, but I have nothing to do other than verify my identity for them. I hope my package is still there when I come back.

The screen is good and clear, the picture is clear. We've had previous ViewSonic monitors with great speakers, but the speakers on this newer model are tinny and lack depth. If you don't care about sound, this is a great little monitor.

This is the perfect monitor and excellent value for money. I had to replace my old View sound monitor that I had for years and it eventually died. I decided to order another ViewSonic as I was so lucky with my old one. I am very happy with it. I use it as an extra monitor for work, ideal for a small area. I highly recommend.

The controls are very impractical. The buttons are located on the bottom of the device and are not intuitive. The speakers are also very bad. My built-in computer speakers are much better, and that's not saying much.
