VIKINGS BLADE Beard Balm - Black Forest, Sandalwood + Himalayan Cedar Review

I have tried many products and this is my choice. I have a thick, relatively stiff, ginger, salt-and-pepper beard. This material retains the softness and a pleasant smell. It doesn't give too much shine like some balms and oils. I highly recommend this stuff!

Ah, I had high hopes for this. It sounded so sweet. But when I opened the jar, I noticed that something was sticking out of the balm, which alarmed me, and then I noticed that it smelled like citronella and cheap perfume. Not good at all. Skip this product.

It smelled and felt like wax. It smelled faintly pleasant, but too faint to be overpowered by the smell of wax. And also a slightly sticky, waxy feel. Honestly, rubbing an inexpensive scented candle into your beard can achieve almost the same waxing effect for a fraction of the cost if that's what you're looking for. I've tried various balms in the past that were more like a beard conditioner with a little more hold, but not this one.
