Great Replacement: Shaft Casters

Exactly what I was looking for. I had a world market office chair that needed to be replaced with casters and it turned out to be a perfect fit. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Shaft Base 2 Inch Office Chair Ball Caster Wheel with Brake
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for the Elderly

Smooth rolling casters

I put them on my work chair and made it easier to move around. They were very easy to install. The price was great for the quality and shipping was very fast.

Pros
  • Quiet and smooth movements and turns
Cons
  • Slightly torn

These casters look good and will probably work well for furniture that doesn't move much (tables, sofas, etc.). They don't do so well for office chairs that need to move easily and effortlessly. The geometry of the wheel doesn't allow for quick spins (significantly offset from the finger) and the wheel ball is actually quite hard, not rubberized. Almost plastic. This makes it glide as hard as casters on hardwood floors, and the chair always feels like at least one pair of wheels are sliding…

Pros
  • Easy to replace existing casters, just pull out the old ones and insert the new ones
Cons
  • Discontinued
