    Strange red powder? on bulbs

    We ordered these bulbs primarily for aesthetic reasons. Brightness is good, warmth is perfect, thickness is good. But there is a strange bright red powder in the 4/6 of the bulbs I have. Super weird and illuminated by the light itself. But they work!

    Terrible - junk in bulb, bad glass

    All six (6) of these Edison bulbs were found with red stuff loose in the bulb - so with my attachment exposed on the bottom of the bulb. Also, the glass quality is TERRIBLE. Looks like they've been used before, and not for the better. Avoid.

    Nice looking light bulbs are best in incandescent bulbs

    Replaced matte white light bulbs in ugly bathroom fixtures. You know the view with three round lightbulbs. They came with the house I just bought. Eventually I will replace them, but after replacing the bulbs they started to look a lot better. As another reviewer noted, they aren't very bright. Looking back, I should have gotten 60W instead of 40W.

    Too big for normal lamps. Arrived half broken. Maybe cool for some purposes.

    Lights were very large, best for spectacular lights. They don't even fit in a large table lamp. They are too wide for a typical harp and too round to fit in a rosette. Warmth and style are comfortable. Arrived half broken. I have no idea what to use them for. I think I should have looked at the dimensions, but this style is almost impossible to use in a typical setting.

    Nice decorative bulbs for my companion

    4 stars only because only 5 of the 6 bulbs worked and there is no way to change one. I have to send them all back. But I needed a light that wasn't too bright so it wouldn't look like a runway with 6 lights on. This is a calming light level. The bulbs are amber in color and although you can't see it in the picture, they are completely transparent. The image looks a bit opaque.

    Great bulbs that match incandescent bulbs

    So I ended up with 60 watt bulbs. Honestly I'm pleasantly surprised, they seem to be of excellent quality and are damn bright. I resisted at first as I didn't think they would be bright enough but in the end they were bright enough. I took a picture of the lightbulb next to my debit card so you all can compare the sizes. The color of the light is different. So if you use it in a room with only one light source, it will take some time to get used to.

    Definitely choose higher power as it's still nice and dim light for good mood. I suspect a lower wattage would be too weak, for example if used in a bathroom. One of the lamps died shortly after installation (after about 2 weeks). While the other five survived (1 month). It's a very warm yellow color and they're not too bright when viewed directly. I wouldn't recommend this being your only lighting in the bathroom as the light is quite yellow. I think it will look best in combination with a…

    Nice and well packed.

    The lamps were well packed in bubble wrap and separate strong boxes in a large carton to prevent them from colliding during shipping. None of my bulbs were broken when they arrived. I have five spots for lightbulbs on my bathroom vanity and I have a spare bulb if something happens to one of them which gives me time to order before the others run out and they put out plenty of light but not too bright. The bulbs aren't entirely clear but are a bit tinted and the spiral filament inside shines…

    I really liked these bulbs when I received them in the mail. These are beautiful vintage light bulbs of large size. The filaments are stunning when lit and the amber hue has become a unique design element in my bathroom. Unfortunately I had to send them back. Why? I ordered two boxes for my lamp.
