Description of 🔥 Vintage Lighter Retro Trench Rattlesnake Rope Velvet Metal Lighter Fire Starter for Camping Outdoors - No Kerosene/Gas Required, #1 Choice

This mini lighter is convenient to carry anywhere(37.3g only),no need to refill kerosene or gas, perfect for wilderness activities, camping or other outdoor activities. It features high quality metal body and well-built interior structure and NO FLAME, just spark. Usuage:just strike the attached flint wheel to create sparks, which are caught on a charred cotton rope, that has been partially withdrawn from a metal tube housing. This was typically used for lighting cigarettes which does not require a flame to accomplish. Once an ember is generated, it is windproof, and is extinguished by retracting the cord back inside the tube and an attached lid snuffs it out. Note:With a new rope lighter, burn the end of the rope before using it with the flint. The end must be blackened for the spark to catch. Package includes 1x WWII Rope lighter.Color:Golden (just shown as the first picture).

Works great outside.

As you can imagine, this item works great, but you won't be lighting it indoors. It literally smells like fire in the garbage. But it's not really for indoor use, it's an outdoor item meant for severe weather or emergencies. I think I could find a rope that doesn't smell that bad, but how would you find out. All in all a great smoke, I wouldn't want to light a cigarette from it either, just saying you'll inhale that flaming rope and not enjoy your smoke at all.

YUP! Quality product - great sparks - works! Come dolphin!

Loving Dolphin. This rope lighter works as it should. The spark wheel is aggressive, throws good sparks and is just the right distance from the wick to ignite the charcoal. I have some history and experience with them. I have several antique versions. SOME of the new ones you buy online have never been tested, pathetic junk. They (Dolphin brand) really work. Also a big thank you for their stand alone spark wheels. I ended up buying about 8 of these for kits. My only complaint is that the…

I was VERY skeptical about such a fire source with no liquid/fuel, but I was extremely surprised! Opened the box, pulled out a string and used my BIC lighter to set it on fire. Let it burn for about 10 seconds 🔥, pull the rope down to put out the flame, then try it alone and BOOM. Lighted a 🔥 cigar, no problems. Everyone should have one lying around. This can be really useful. Remember Tom Hanks rubbing sticks together in Castaway? I easily give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This brass will last a…
