The shoes are much better in person. Nicer texture than I expected. When it came time for my son to wear them to prom, they looked amazing! Too bad less than 2 hours has passed since he wore them, the bow has completely come off a shoe. I don't think they are as good as we first thought and he can no longer wear them due to this cheap defect.

Gave them to my friend. A little hard to see but they looked very good on him. He liked her very much. Goes well with his bow tie and blazer.

The shoes were almost perfect, they were missing the suede so it looked like someone cut it with a razor, can't send a backorder, it will be too late. I need them for an event.

It was very disappointing that the ribbons fell off the shoes before the event had even started. This shoe was very good until the loops fell off. I tried calling and getting replacement sheets but was told it was not possible.

From the photos I wasn't sure if the shoes were dark red or light red so I wanted to post a message for others trying to figure out the same thing. that they really are bright red fire engines. They look great, especially for an overnight stay (homecoming). The bow tie has a flaw where an extra piece of metal is hanging down, but that doesn't detract from the look. I can cut it off with wire cutters, or I can just leave it. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. My son hasn't tried them on…

The shoe design itself met my expectations. Looks very good and they felt comfortable. What I didn't like about the product was that it was a very bright red. The pictures show burgundy shoes in almost all pictures except one. And that one bright red picture was the shoe I got. They were needed for my wedding in Burgundy. Luckily I ordered in advance so I had more time to find other shoes in the right color. So, if bright red suits you, then these shoes are for you!
