A little offended

I am new to pottery and wanted to make pieces where I punched letters into clay to form words. Maybe I can find out, but right now these stamps leave a deep dent in the tone before you can see the letters. The letters are very small, outdated design and you need good light so you can see which letter you are using. I doubt I'll use them after the first pair of cymbals were disappointing.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

  • No Instructions

Happy with the size and quality

I bought this stamp set on the recommendation of a youtuber and I am happy with the size and quality of the stamps - just what I wanted for writing letters and journaling . They're not too small to hold in hand and they bounce well when stamped. The letters fit on paper in a wide ruler as shown in the photo. However, the wood is not as light as advertised in the product photo. As you can see in my photo the black letter is too dark to be seen without turning to the light. If you keep the…

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

This is a large size but note that the clasp does not move up and down, more like a latch. The dark wood hides the black letters making them very difficult to see so I used a fine gold poster pen to write them to make this set more convenient for me. When stamping, you need to watch your pressure, if you press too hard, show the edges when stamping. Personally, I actually like this look, but if it's not your thing, be aware. I also used a poster marker to add some detail at the top, so be aware

do you have patience

1. clear stamp2. Good wooden box, but! The letters are tiny, making them difficult to work with. The box inside is not meant to hold items unless all the parts are inside. As soon as you take the letter out of the box, the chaos begins. This makes it difficult to select the remaining letters or symbols. Also, at least the one I have is made of dark wood and the code letters are dark too. In the middle of the letters is a soup bowl trying to choose p or d or m, not w. You can't see well because…

Nice and complete set for the price. Easy to use.

These stamps are perfect for what I will be using them for. I'm also glad it includes number stamps and punctuation as well. I just wanted to be able to write a few words or dates in my notebooks (to use instead of stickers that would clutter my notebook) and it works great. I have notebooks of different sizes and the stamp sizes fit all of my notebooks. I did a test stamp with a regular black ink Avery Carter ink pad and you can see the halos on the back of the paper (Tomoe River paper) but it
