Perfectly decorates my room. I like her old look. My mom had this old suitcase so it's nostalgia for me. Of course, they are for decoration and not for real use. My goal was to keep memorabilia from the trip, but I feel they are too fragile for that. Made from very thin, veneer-like wood, similar to balsa wood used in model airplanes. Love these little boxes. They are great for photo shoots. Based on other reviews I was expecting them to be a lot stronger than they were. The largest suitcase broke under the weight of a 3 year old so I was a bit disappointed. They're still very cute, but you'll probably need a little extra support if you want to give them weight.

They look great from a distance or in a photo. I'm using them for demonstration purposes and I can already tell that they may or may not last six months to a year. They are so fragile due to poor construction that I have to treat them as if they are truly vintage. Loops are thin. The paint/dye feels sticky and the clasps are unreliable due to loose loops.
