Description of Vinyl record Modern Talking. The 1st Album. Clear (LP)

New, sealed vinyl record in factory packaging. The vinyl record "Modern Talking The 1st Album" is a remastered reissue of the debut studio album by Eurodance band Modern Talking, originally released in 1985. "The First Album" includes two international hits - "You''re My Heart, You''re My Soul" and "You Can Win If You Want". The first composition was first released as a single at the end of 1984, the second - at the beginning of 1985. After the release of the second single, the album itself was released. In total, about 6 million copies of the album were sold worldwide. It should be noted that some of the songs included in the album were already released earlier by Dieter Bohlen ("The Night Is Yours, The Night Is Mine", "Lucky Guy") under the pseudonym Ryan Simmons and Thomas Anders (the German version of the song "Lucky Guy" - "Es geht mir gut heut'' Nacht" in 1983 - 1984. Also in the album there is the only song of the duet, in which Dieter Bohlen sang the verses, and Birger Korleis ("There Too Much Blue in Missing You") sang the chorus. The album was a success: in 1985 it took first place in the charts in Germany, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Turkey, Israel and Chile. By November 1985, more than a million copies had already been sold, and journalists were writing about Modern Talking as a pop phenomenon comparable to ABBA. The press wrote about the cover of the album: “the sports boot personifies Dieter - the athlete and the shirt-guy, and the patent leather shoe represents Bernd (Thomas Anders) with his more elegant outfit. On the stage - just as in private life. The album collected nine gold awards in Europe, and platinum in Germany, Austria and Sweden, and stayed on the charts for 43 weeks. Modern Talking was a German musical duo that existed from 1984 to 1987 and from 1998 to 2003, performing Eurodisco and Europop dance music. The band consisted of Thomas Anders (lead vocals) and Dieter Bohlen (guitar, backing vocals, songwriting, production). It is one of the most successful bands in the history of popular music and the most successful of those created in Germany: the group''s recordings have been sold worldwide in more than 190 million copies (as of 2020). The duo''s singles topped the charts from the mid-1980s ("You''re My Heart, You''re My Soul") to the early 2000s ("Win the Race"), and compilations topped the charts worldwide ( "Back for Good"). The band''s music still finds its way into the playlists of radio stations, and their albums continue to be sold to this day. Type of review

The first album of the famous German duet from which, in fact, it all began. Connoisseurs of the genre and, in particular, the band itself are simply obliged to have this record in their collection. Especially in such a performance and at such a democratic price (I took it in Onlinetrade. Ru).

Pros
  • Quality printing. Heavy 180g vinyl. Transparent. Looks beautiful. With sound, too, everything is in order. There is little noise, the frequencies are all in place. I think after washing it will sound even cleaner.
Cons
  • No. Well, except that there is no internal antistatic package.
