I really liked these hiking shoes from Vionic.

I've had several pairs of Vionic hiking shoes. This couple did not disappoint. I bought purple. Received them in the mail, packed them in a suitcase and carried them all over Washington, DC for a week. You don't have to break them in. Perfect support. I have bursitis in both legs so I always order a size up. I usually wear a size 9 but for hiking shoes I order 1/2 size up so I bought a 9 1/2 W. Perfect fit.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers

Not very supportive.

I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for over a year. I needed to replace my everyday "sports shoes" and decided to give it a try. i give them back This is my second attempt at Vionics and I'm really not impressed. They don't have the structural support I need for my arches. I used my own orthotics in them and the shoes didn't have enough structure to support them. The heel is quite wide and doesn't stand very high at the back. There wasn't enough support for my legs to not penetrate. The

Great shoes! for shoes

I looked at these shoes for a week before buying them because they were expensive but I really need something for my heel pain. I walk on concrete floors a lot at work so they are perfect. Many reviews say that you need to break in your Vionic shoes for a few hours before wearing them fully, but I haven't had this problem at all. They are true to size, I have a medium (not narrow and not wide) foot, I'm a size 8.5 and they fit me perfectly. They're a bit tight to wear, but honestly you don't…

Uber Comfortable Good for Walking

I had foot surgery last year and quickly broke my back. I got orthopedic insoles, but then it was painful to look for shoes that would stand up to the orthopedic and it was painful to switch from shoe to shoe. Someone recommended Vionics as they had good insoles but if they are wrong their insoles are removable and my orthotics fit. Although I didn't have to. This is my third pair in 1 1/2 years. These are my main shoes. I use them for fitness walking, regular everyday wear and my old ones for…

  • No Form Required

I have been suffering from acute plantar fasciitis for 6 months. I had 4 injections, wore a boot for a month and am currently doing physical therapy 2 times a week. PT was my last option before the "surgery" so I jumped at it. It helped me after a month of training, but I still suffered from pain when I walked for a long time. BY THE WAY. I used to run 5 miles a day and also went to the gym 4-5 days a week before it happened to my leg. So I was very active until this happened to me. My physical
