As an active teacher with several pairs of Vionic flip flops and Klogs mules during the first 5 minutes walk to the bus service in these shoes my heels were blistered. To make matters worse, the stitching on the SIDE of the heel also chafed a hole in my foot. I had to put huge plasters on my knees to cover open wounds to get through the day. It was money I didn't have to lose over a terrible pair of shoes. Also, they are not breathable. They are beautiful and fit the first time I tried them on.

I was lucky enough to buy this shoe in 9.5 for $40. Note: the description says it has a 'hidden insole' while the black leather does not. This is a removable insole that I like. It's textured, which I wish it wasn't, and the inside of the shoe material is textured and a little stiff in the toe area. I have a narrow foot but they fit me well too so I would advise anyone with an average foot to make a different choice: either a roomy size or one size larger. I think I could easily wear this shoe…
