LOVE this signature cold pack! Flexible and cool

I love this brand so much I bought the entire line: neck, knee, square back and this knee and warmer! Cools quickly in the freezer and stays cold long enough to use on one part of the body and then transfer to another. The "bags" come out of the staple pouches, so there's no need to take up freezer space for the entire staple. The only downside is that it's just a cold compress with no heat option, but I've had injuries where ice was recommended by doctors. Good - very flexible and adapted to…

Pros
  • Tested for one year
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Perfect for ankle/foot injuries!

I was in a car accident which broke my ankle and knee (luckily? same leg). Anyway I bought these and one for the knee and couldn't be happier. I don't write many reviews but it was worth my time. They hold up securely and the bags inside are very cold. I buckle up these puppies and cool the leg, which helps reduce swelling and promotes faster healing. The materials are of excellent quality, the velcro is excellent. I see how I can use them now in the future. The price was great too! * Highly…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Negative experience

It took a while to get used to, but now I like it.

I was barefoot when I tried it on for the first time. I didn't like how it felt against my skin. Too cold. After putting on a thick sock it got a lot better. For a sprained leg, this would be great for swelling. I had a long board and 15 screws to glue my ankle together. 8 weeks in plaster made the cold parts of this orthosis stick directly to metal and bone. Update - 2 months post ankle hole surgery there is still a lot of swelling. This sleeve/clamp was a godsend. With the swelling comes an…

Pros
  • Perfect for a small house
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

You get what you pay for

Very mediocre. 1/8 inch. The insoles are so thin that they only stay cold for a very short time. If you have a narrow foot, don't wrap your ankle tight enough to touch it. I had to take out 3 small inserts and use my hand to press on the broken ankle bones, which isn't very practical, but better than nothing. Hey 7 weeks is a joke, good thing I have a bigger thing. It takes more than that to apply ice to a broken ankle to reduce severe swelling. The design is crazy, the inserts are all slightly

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Hit all the right spots

I had major foot surgery and it saved my life before and after the surgery. Cool compresses may feel a little thin, but you shouldn't wear them for more than 20 minutes at a time. If I need extra cold, I have a large, heavy cold pack that I could use with it. I would wear this first, then wrap the other around the arch and sole of the foot, and then wrap and tie a pillowcase around the foot to secure everything in place. It was perfect for the surgery I had. I had a torn tendon and incision at…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
