I bought the camera because of the price. But when I replaced the old DSLR it got a lot better. In contrast to my old one, the view takes up the entire mirror. The voice control surprised me. Now I want to buy more to replace my old mirrors. In the touch screen settings you can change several settings without going into the menu.

If you suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder because you are in the center of your old mirror. This may not be for you. Works fine but I replaced one that was perfect for covering the old mirror. I replaced my old one because Menard was loading things in the back of my truck and ripping out the wires. I'm using a new camera with my old display.

I had one of those mirror cams that could rotate the camera so not only did the mirror stay in place but you point the camera at a better vantage point could . My car was stolen along with a camera in the mirror. I thought I'd buy the best one with the best reviews and figured they all come with a camera like this but alas they don't. Also, it doesn't fit my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. Finally returned. I'm sure this will work well for a sedan, but you'll probably want to make sure it fits your SUV.

Bought this camera on 4/3/21 and it overheats on summer days and won't work until it cools down which I have to wear indoors. This is a backup camera, it is not designed for the summer heat. The sad thing is that summer hasn't even arrived here yet, so I'm afraid it's melting away. Here are my complaints: The screen is too reflective. You have to tilt it down, which throws off the front camera a bit. It doesn't have auto-brightness, so I always keep the brightness in the middle. And sometimes the mirror will randomly darken and you have to tap the screen to reset it.
