📷 Vivitar 5.1MP Vivicam Digital Camera with 1.8-inch Preview Screen Review

I bought two of these cameras from "ToysRUS" for twins. This is a piece of junk and ToysRUs refuse to upgrade us or refund our money. You don't get a reasonable picture indoors. The color is far off and the images are washed out. Don't waste your money on this camera. AND DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS FROM TOYSRUS BECAUSE THEIR RETURN POLICY PROHIBITS ANY RETURN OF OPENED PACKAGES.

"Arrived quickly and in good condition. - Shake first. 30 shots were taken and they look very good because as with any camera you have to find the right settings for each shot. I have a lot of experience and all cameras are very little with their settings. For serious recordings I use my Panasonic DMS-FZ28".

I like the smaller size of the camera. There's just no real guidance as to which buttons and functions do what. The camera I received is silver, not pink. Too bad. Image quality on screen is decent, but I haven't printed anything yet so we'll see. There is also no way to get the software onto my Chromebook, which is very disappointing. But I guess you get what you pay for, right?

I bought one at Walmart and it didn't work properly (I don't remember the exact problem) but I was able to return it to the store for a second one. However, the new one was just as bad as the first: it never focused properly and was always out of focus. I tried to return it to the store but the second one was not taken back. The information on the camera packaging states that you should call a specific 800 number and not attempt to return it to the store. I have tried this number several times…

I didn't expect miracles from this camera. But I figured it would be an inexpensive way to snap some vacation photos with my family and friends. All images are blurry. I thought I was. Maybe I have a tremor. So I set a timer and put the camera on the tabletop so it would NEVER shake. Also blurry picture.
