Supports 27 " monitors - with limitations

I followed the printed instructions to assemble this dual monitor arm and was dismayed to discover that the arm does not support two 27" monitors , as stated in the specifications or as shown in the instructions . Both monitors slipped out of position and fell onto the desk. The instructions say you should tighten the screws for larger monitors; This was not the case. I spoke to tech support and they suggested I unscrew the screws and lo and behold my hands are stable where I wanted them. When…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Loose, wobbly monitor mount - not for frequent adjustments

The monitor mount works reasonably well and will hold two 27" monitors after adjusting the hydraulic/gas pistons in the mounts. Be patient and be careful not to damage the monitors by dropping them on the table. Attaching to the brackets was pretty easy, the brackets have a quick release system that allows the monitor to hang while you screw it on. Arms aren't good for frequent setups I move my monitors around a lot depending on whether I'm watching movies, working or gaming The arms aren't…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Continuous. Multiple angle settings are good. It sticks out a little.

Extremely durable. Difficult. Reliable clamps. Ease of installation. My only issue is that it sticks out at the back, forcing me to move the table forward to avoid scratching the wall. This creates a large gap between the table and the wall. I had to add pads to the back of the armrests to avoid possible damage to the wall when moving the event table. It easily adjusts to the angles I need. If it tilts down, just tighten the screw. Looks great on my new desk.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some problems

Good budget monitor mounts

I've worked on many projects with really expensive monitor mounts (Ergotron, Omnimount, etc.) so I'm used to playing with high quality hardware. In terms of weight, they clearly do not belong in the same category, but they are definitely suitable for the home office. They sit on my desk and are adjusted not to move unless I want them to (the only exception is when I put my laptop away, that arm extends to its maximum height). I was surprised at how many turns of the adjustment screw I had to…

Pros
  • Expensive but valuable
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Essentially a one-handed monitor

The first hand went great to install, but the second hand presented one problem after another. Even without a monitor, the "elbow" of the second hand was very rigid, took forever, just twist a little. It wasn't until I got over that and decided I wasn't going to move the monitor much and decided to install a second monitor that I realized it was crooked. I thought maybe it was a monitor whose screws weren't straight, so I removed the first monitor and put it on the second mount only to find…

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • A few minor issues
