This review is almost a copy of someone else's. I didn't have the same Dell monitor but had the same problem. This bracket did not fit my Dell monitor. While the VESA plate accommodates the monitor's 100 x 100 hole pattern, the plate itself was too large to fit into the plate insert on the back of the monitor. While I briefly considered attaching a panel with overlapping edges, the supplied screws were too short and the overlap would only be about 1/8" on either side, I would have to buy longer

Mounting things on the wall is always a bit of a chore, but it was pretty easy. The brackets have three screws, the top two are offset so you can drill through the stud. There are other details if you want to mount the bolt. I ordered two, one for each of my two screens. During assembly, one of the screw heads fell off. I bought this to mount a DELL and EIZO monitor on my studio wall. Well, as you can see from the pictures, the included VESA mount that was supposed to be attached to your monitor is supposedly not a real VESA mount. This is not a VESA mount as it does not fit in the space that the VESA mount fits in the back of the monitors.
