More or less a 3/8" MDF shelf with simple folding metal legs. It comes together easily and does the job, but it's not the best option. 1) The top tree needs to be thicker to to bear the weight in the middle the monitor sags a lot -shaped support brackets which would prevent rolling under weight back and forth I can attach props to fix this or more likely just build my own riser.

This is the worst monitor stand I have ever used. It vibrates a lot! A small dent on the table and my 27" monitor stays on a wobbly stand in 3-5 seconds. The legs are made of extremely low quality metal and are not strong at all, they are springy and terrible. Imagine using a table. Stand on springs rather than strong legs and you will get a good idea of how this product works. Bought with the expectation of putting a monitor on it.

Easy assembly, Allen key for screws included. The stand was wide and deep enough to accommodate my extra wide stand, but that's where the positives end for me. It was very easy to assemble and looks good, but my 26.9 lb Lenovo Ideacentre AIO sags badly in the middle. It has been installed for about 5 days and there is a 0.5cm subsidence in the middle. Now the base of my computer is a 3 x 5 inch rectangle with 8 inch legs that protrude forward so there is significant weight on the smaller main compartment but for something rated at 44 pounds I wouldn't give it a go trust unless it is 100% evenly distributed from a flat object. I bought this shelf because I have two laptops that I constantly switch between. I wanted to fold them so my desk wouldn't look awkward.
