an absolute pain - computer accessories and peripherals

The "hinges" aren't that adjustable and turning is an absolute problem as the "screws" look like they're just for show because you can do it themselves. t turn them. The center hinge that supports the dual monitor arm is also very poorly made. I realized too late that the screw wasn't fully tightened; Instead, it twists together, making it impossible to fully tighten. Which, by the way, caused my $300 monitor to fall right onto my desk during installation. This resulted in some "blurry…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

The adjustable arms aren't easy to adjust - even with a power tool

Installation was easy enough. Like, three options. There is a weighted base that you CAN leave freestanding (or so it says, I haven't tried it) but you have the option of screwing it through the table hub. The other two options use either an existing bushing or a self-drilled bushing. With dual monitor arms, it is IMPOSSIBLE to adjust the tension on these screws so that you can position the arms perfectly. And I mean, I grabbed a freaking POWER TOOL, found the right hex socket, set it up for…

Pros
  • I'll keep my fingers crossed
Cons
  • For a long time

Love it Monitor accessories

I've finally come to terms with the fact that working from home has become the new normal. I had two 32-inch monitors at work and I really liked that. I only had one at home. I paid thinking it would be temporary. when my company said that this was likely to continue throughout 2020, i decided to set up both monitors. I was struggling to set it up properly. The height was too low and the angles wrong. I finally found this online and it works great. It actually fits 32 inch monitors very well. I

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • No insurance

Very solid build

I use the VIVO Full Motion Freestanding Dual Monitor Desktop Stand for two Samsung 27" curved monitors. Each monitor weighs just under 10 pounds, and I was concerned that my arms might sag a little under the weight. This stand doesn't sag at all. The double joints are firm and smooth and hold their position really well. The base is broad and strong, yet flat. I like that the cable guide includes the 3 included Allen keys used to adjust and assemble the stand. Assembly is quick, maybe 15 minutes

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Very durable with two 27 inch monitors

I love this stand. The build quality is great, it seems pretty solid and well made, I'm not worried about it breaking, it's very sturdy. Without one aspect I would have given 5 stars. The arms have pivot points, which is good, but as they extend outward the linearity tends to drop somewhat, which may even be down to the correctness of the vertical bar when it's not perfectly straight. As a result, I found that even with two identical monitors, the height of the left and right monitors are half…

  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

No knobs to adjust just hex screws - very tricky

Monitors have to be turned off if you want to raise or lower them as I unscrewed the hex screw (knob would work great) and all as long as it is suspended, it sinks and cannot be raised again. If you are using monitors of a different brand and/or size, they will not match. I have LG 32 and Samsung 31.5. They use different VESA holes so I had to buy a 13th adapter for one. THEN, as the mounting holes are in different locations on the monitor, they do not sit evenly next to each other and this…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Long wait

an absolute nuisance for computer accessories and peripherals

The 'hinges' are not as adjustable and very difficult to turn as the 'screws' seem to be just for show as you can't even turn them. Very high quality monitor arms

I bought this stand to set up two 27" monitors and so far it's doing the job pretty well. How cheap this stand is, I couldn't believe the build quality of this stand - it's very solid and heavy and I can tell it will last for many years to come. Currently I have it set up with my curved gaming monitor on my right and my other monitor vertically on my left. The mounting brackets are easily adjustable, allowing you to customize the monitors to a degree in any configuration you want. The only…
