We tested this light on a 15 and 16 Ford F150. Magnets don't stick to trucks, not even with the slightest grip. I don't know what they paint those trucks with, but those garbage magnets don't stick one iota. We tried the headlight on an older Chevy and it seems to be holding up well on this car. DO NOT buy these if you want something to really stick to your car.

I'm deducting a star because as another reviewer said the plastic case on this one is clear and not amber. A little misleading judging by all the pictures. It exceeded all my expectations! I got it today and it works great. I needed a road advisor/signal light for my children and neighbors who cycle down our street. LED lighting works well but the two washers holding the magnets are not strong enough to hold the light securely. A felt pad to protect the car paint is good, but if your car is clean and waxed or has had a sealer applied to it after washing, this light will slip easily. I don't trust it for motorway/motorway work or country road work over 35 km/h.
