Exact replacement: in keyless entry systems

I lost my original key fob and needed to replace it, this part was exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. I had to contact a locksmith who was able to cut a new key from a blank on the key fob and program the remote control, everything is fine, I may order again from this seller, thank you for a quality product.

Works great but will require cutting and programming by a dedicated locksmith

I bought this for my 2005 Jaguar S-Type and it works great. It comes pre-assembled with all electronics and battery. After the key is made and programmed by the locksmith using special equipment, it starts the car and the buttons work as expected. The locksmith charged me $125 for it. Most locksmiths don't have the specialized equipment needed to make the key and program the electronics, so you may have to travel to a fairly large city to find one. Phone call.
