REMAIN CALM! - my new review

This machine loudly instructs you to remain calm and still. Haha! The lack of volume control and silent option must be why they're selling them so cheap.It's a good monitor, accurate (as checked with machine at hospital).The volume is very loud, great for hard of hearing. The numbers are big, great for less than perfect vision. It stores readings, great for less than perfect memories. Before you use this

visit your doctor and have them take your blood pressure monitor and then show you how you should use this one. The reading should be somewhat similar so that you can then take your readings and record them as needed.

Pros
  • This blood pressure device is wonderful. Easy to use, clear directions and read-out.

  • The device might not have an option to turn off the voice feature, which can be annoying for some

Good unit, works easy to read display. wish it was rechargeable.

Its decent unit. Easy to use, fairly intuitive interface. Pretty large display and easy to read. works as expected but "chews" through the batteries.Recommend as unit is decently made and works. Suggest that you get a set of rechargeable AAs batteries.

Easy to Use best in my review

Compact and easy to place on wrist. The voice provides instructions as to how to hold hand as well as final reading. I liked the fact that it told me what my reading meant - for instance high normal pressure; normal pressure; extremely high. It also provided heart rate - all announced in a crisp female voice.

Couldn't get it to work

I tried several times and wasn't able to get it to work. It just screamed at me and didn't take my blood pressure. It was really frustrating until I finally gave up and got rid of it.

Cuff size is 32-42cm, not 22-42cm.

The cuff was too large, if fits 32-42cm. Though the seller claims it is 22cm in their responses. If you have small arms, don't buy this.

It Speaks and Works Well!

This is just like being at the doctors office. I actually went to see the Doc today and this showed close to the same when I went home and settled down. It’s really easy to use; just plug it in (You can also use 4 AA Batteries, which are included), wrap the Cuff around your arm and turn it on; it does the rest. The instructions are decent and come in a nice color booklet that will explain anything you need to know. I think this is a pretty reasonably priced way to keep someone apprised of…
