I've used them to attach wall mounts for Ethernet cables as well as HDMI cables. Oddly enough, the plates didn't come with a mount. These things are absolutely necessary to stay healthy. The brackets worked great and were easy to assemble.

I wanted to move my internet to another place and this made it easy. All you have to do is cut a hole in the wall using the template. Insert it into the whole and tighten. Easy easy. From start to finish it took no more than 15 minutes. Highly recommended to all lovers like me.

These things work great but you have to manually measure and mark the holes to cut the correct size hole that they will fit. Other low voltage boxes have 4 corner holes cut out, so you can only mark and cut out 4 cutouts, but you need to measure and cut out the inside dimensions. That's about 2 1/4 inches and about 3.5 inches that you need to cut off. Otherwise they work great.

These are good mounting brackets and I'd give a better view, however it's kind of paint in the butt to cut the drywall perfectly to install these brackets. It would be nice if there was some kind of drywall cutting plan included in the package. It measures about 3-1/2 x 2-1/4 inches, but it would be a lot easier to have a drawing template so you can cut the drywall perfectly the first time.

I have not attached a photo as you can only see the wall plate. I have yet to install one and maybe I can take a picture before compressing it. They're a little delicate, but a lot easier than installing a box! I tell you be very careful not to cut the hole too big. I did (top to bottom) and the plastic just fell through. I bought these with speaker connection plates and they work fantastic. I've used a two-gang metal mount in the past and it was terrible because it used collapsible parts that didn't clamp to the wall very well so it wobbled. I bought the same style as her in a double gang form. So when I needed a single I found this set and love them too. Be careful when tightening the screws that secure the panels to the wall. I used a drill for one and even the drill didn't move fast, it had too much torque and broke its tip. I was able to reuse the plate and apply less torque with a screwdriver by hand. I'm not sure how long the panels will hold up in the walls. Also, you'll need to pull back the screw head when tightening because it's pretty flimsy on the back. As you tighten it, you'll see the back plate or "flap" that holds it to the wall…
