Success Vinyl Ski Wrap

I used this to wrap my snowshoes. I put blue on the top half and black on the bottom half. This made the job a lot easier than trying to cut with a utility knife. I was impressed!

Pros
  • Stylish design
Cons
  • Weak Kit

No brand listed

Brand listed is Vvivid Knifeless. I have 3M. I could get more length for the same price at 3M from 3M. 3M cuts vinyl very well. I was hoping to get a list of brands. Otherwise, the 3M is good, but not at the price of 32 feet.

Brilliant! - Household Items

I replaced a spoiler on my Mustang and had to add 2 12" racing stripes to customize the rest of the car. I glued the tape without a knife and got the perfect line. I have no idea how he pulls off such a perfect cut, maybe witchcraft. Just follow the instructions.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Slightly Ripped

Like some other reviewers I did not receive squeegees or pads. I knew it was a risk. However, I did not receive the TAPE either! The 3M zip-lock package was there with a bright yellow tool and instructions, but the actual PRODUCT WAS NOT INCLUDED! I had to return an empty package to get a refund. How does it make sense?

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Can't remember

Not the best for me

Bought this to cut vinyl while tinting taillights. I had to mask off the taillight housing with painter's tape to make it easier to adjust the vinyl if needed (following the vinyl tinting instructions). the knifeless tape didn't stick to the masking tape at all, which I'm sure won't surprise anyone. So for my personal situation, the band didn't fit. I can say it would be perfect if not for the masking tape needed.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Safe Cut (Similar)

I used this to wrap vinyl on my car. I cut a piece of lead in green tape to give the tensioning thread a starting point (I did the same thing with vinyl), gave it a constant strong tension, and it cut quite clean the first time (there were slight roughnesses, but not noticeable when I straightened his squeegee and heat gun). On my second try, I felt like I knew how to cut successfully with this product. It didn't go well and I ended up crumpling most of the vinyl. I had to start over. Here…

Pros
  • Pretty Packaging
Cons
  • Approximately

it works fine. Although I've found it has a slight learning curve. Sometimes you get a very nice and sharp line, other times it's more of a jagged edge. This is all because of how the line is drawn through the green band. Sometimes it doesn't pull through the tape and just slips out from under the tape and forms a jagged edge, but when you pull through the tape it's a nice straight edge. It will take some time to get the hang of it.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something different

Tape unwind without knife, squeegee can be improved

Tape cuts normally, you have to be careful not to move the cord under the tape on sharp turns. The only time I had trouble with this was right turns, when I pulled the tape up a few times to change its position. It's a bit tricky to start cutting the cord, just make sure you are 6" or more past the edge of your vinyl, it will get easier once you've done this a few times. The actual sharpness of the cuts was impressive, I didn't want to use a knife close to my paint so this worked perfectly. The
