My Whirlpool Gold dishwasher has a leak on the left side under the door. It's about 10 years old and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a branded dishwashing pad that probably wouldn't be used anytime soon, so I decided to give this one a try. It's thinner than the original pad but works great! There are no more leaks. It was easy to install. It may not last as long as the original, but it's definitely worth a try.

Installs quickly and easily. It was longer than needed so I had to cut about 4 inches off each end (I started from the middle). It differs from the OEM strap and is thinner but seals well. I actually prefer this shape to the original OEM which protruded over the edge of the cabinet so was worn down by items opening the compartments. It's too early to talk about durability, but it solved my leakage problems at a quarter of the OEM cost.

Easy to install, just remove the old one and start installing from the bottom. First remove dirt or grime. The new gasket was a foot too long for my dishwasher and all I had to do was trim off the excess. Measure the old gasket and trim off the excess if it's too long. I also cleaned the dishwasher well, I still have black spots from the old seal. Did a cleaning cycle with cleaning bubbles (don't use much) and the inside looks brand new.
