Fixed my fan in car electronics accessory

Fixed my 4 year old hunter's ceiling fan slow issue. Make sure you check the farad rating on your device before you buy, and also buy some wire nuts if you don't already have them.

Pros
  • Brings fun
Cons
  • Functionality

No more ceiling fan noise!

Wadoy CBB61 5-Wire Ceiling Fan Capacitor Compatible NEW TECH 5+5+5uF 50/60Hz 250VAC. Worked as expected. Handled the hum and slow spin of my ceiling fan. The blue size wire nuts worked well - not included!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Appearance

Worked for a Hunter fan in the mid 90's

Worked great for my Hunter fan in the mid 90's. Before replacing the condenser, the fan would not run faster than very low RPM. The fan worked flawlessly for more than 20 years until it turned on this time. This capacitor restored full 3 speed operation. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Fiction! - Amplifier Installation

If your ceiling fans aren't spinning fast (even if they're only a year old), open your fan's electrical "box" and identify your condenser model. Number of wires, # etc. That $7 piece of hardware and a half hour of work (maybe less) will save you $150 + replacements for your fans. We were amazed! (Pun wasn't intended, but it works!)

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsure

Problem solved! suitable for cars and automotive electronics

issue fixed! I have 2 Hunter ceiling fans and both only run on speed 1 (low). The tail also didn't work properly. I just removed the bulb, unscrewed 3 screws, and the entire wiring harness is exposed. You simply unhook the wiring harness from the fan unit and can work on it on the floor. Cut out the old capacitor, strip the ends of the wires and connect the new capacitor's new wires with wire nuts. All wire colors matched so it was easy. This whole process took about 10 minutes per fan and cost

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Problem solved with my fan

I have several Hunter fans at home and two of them are the same model. After a few years of owning fans, it became quite apparent that one of the two fans of the same model was not performing as well as the other. The low and medium were fine, but the high didn't go faster than the medium and started very slowly from a stop. I took the fan apart and noticed the capacitor was 5uF/5uF/5uF so I ordered 2 packs so I could have a spare. I cut the wires from the old capacitor very close to the…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
