Wahl Pro Animal Equine Grooming Stiff Body Brush for Horses Review

Sooooo love this brush! Thick enough to shake dirt off a long winter coat, yet soft enough to be used on a sensitive horse in the summer. Easy to hold and use, good value for money. I wish I had ten more of these!

I use it on my Great Danes and they love it. This helps keep them clean as they love dirt and grime. It also gets more hair than most other brushes I've tried. It's very easy to hold and use!

The brush is quite comfortable in my hands and has a fairly good grip. It also does a good job of removing even the dried dirt from horses' white legs. I've found some horses bang their necks and chests with this brush, but I'm not exactly sure why. Overall a great grooming brush

The brush is well designed and feels good in many hands but I honestly found it too light to be comfortable with for long periods of time keep. The bristles are good and hard, not suitable for a thin skinned horse but suitable for mine. I drilled a small hole and covered the handle with sand. Now it is much more comfortable to hold in your hands.

After using the brush 2-3 times within <24 hours of birth, I noticed the absence of two adjacent bristle stems. I expect that kind of loss as the brush ages with frequent use, but obviously that shouldn't happen with a new brush. I am devastated that I have to return it as it is exactly the size and type of stiff bristle I was looking for. I hope the replacement isn't defective either, but I was just lucky.
