These items are very, very similar to a real camera. I chose not to use the battery in the camera so the LED doesn't blink. I wanted it to be discreet and not draw attention to the cameras. I use these in addition to real cams, so clever scammers might think twice if they see more cams. Easy installation and configuration.

One of the cameras was broken when we received it. The other one was ok. I didn't have time to return it as I needed it about 3 hours from where we live. We got them on Thursday and left on Saturday morning so no time to go back. We ended up fixing it with super glue and just hoping for the best. I'm sure it will be good for what we use it for.

Great FAKE camera with very realistic flashing light and appearance including a dummy power cord. Hard to tell from reality to be honest. Easy to install and even comes with a set of "Warning: 24/7 Video Surveillance" stickers to put on a window, door, etc. This is a deterrent. .

1. Do not insert batteries. Why: Real security cameras don't flash red like they do in the movies.2. Remove the words "CCTV Camera" from all sides. Why: Real CCTV cameras don't say "security camera".3. Add another cable. Why: Security cameras usually have a power cable and a video cable. Just cut a piece of old RCA cable and plug it in there.

There were additions to cover areas where I just didn't want to run cable. A few tips to make them even more realistic: 1. Replace the tubing with real wire. Old flashlight or extension cord, or I have some old Romex lying around.2. Tape the case in place - this will ensure nothing gets blown away by the wind.3. Sand or paint over the side label4. no batteries - my real ones don't glow red constantly.

These cameras are incredibly realistic! I had real outdoor cameras and spent almost $2,000 on them. I got rid of them because they never worked properly and I paid for them for nothing. They were removed by the company and then I bought these cameras. I bought clear labels and was able to reproduce on my computer exactly the name that was on the real cameras. I didn't add a screen to the cameras and I didn't put batteries in them. They look EXACTLY like real shot cameras! worth your money.
