🚗 Walker Exhaust 36272: The Ultimate Exhaust System Hanger Solution! Review

This clamp will not fit 1¾" pipe. Not enough thread to even tighten it. This clamp is for 3" pipe. Exhaust. Also, the collar I received is not even made by the same company that is listed. I've been having more and more problems with Revain lately. I think Revain may have grown too big for his own good.

They said they fit 2.5" tubing. No way. The threads on the Ubolt are too short and don't protrude beyond the bracket. I think Walker had to save a penny by skimping on screw length? They are advertised as fitting even more than a 2.5. That's not true. I'll have to spend 2 hours fiddling with tese or send them back.

So far out of the two I've ordered one is missing both screws, looks askew and the clip is bent Important part The lack of products and lack of any quality control makes it a bit difficult to deliver a bad update when I can get the replacement and actually complete the update installation. Received the replacement quickly with no problems or issues which gives me a better feel for the product, just install now

They've been on my car for about two years. This car has not been driven much. I recently had my exhaust removed to have my car repaired and found that 2 out of 3 of these hangers had blown through the rubber. I take everything out of my car and put on stronger hangers. If you need something for a cheap temporary fix, this is fine. They were easy to install, but if you want something that will last, look elsewhere.

Had to update review: So after the new exhaust was assembled, fired up the '84 Blazer and it all sounded fine. Run it for 10 minutes and check all the connections - and one of the hitches broke right after the truck started. Went to Napa and bought new belts. OK, easy to use, delivery was quick etc. The clip itself no problem. So thin I wonder how long it will last. Easy to bend by hand!

As another reviewer says, this hanger really isn't made for anything less than 2-1/2" in diameter. I tried mounting it on a 2" pipe and it wouldn't even close. There aren't enough threads on the U-bolt to be able to tighten it. Enough there to grab and pull in. 2 stars only , because I managed to fold down enough extra pipe to make it work.

The welded exhaust bracket broke on my daughter's car and this part reproduced the function of the broken bracket very well. It was easy to install, a long screw attached it to the rubber hanger to complete the function. Although the dimensions listed said it would fit a 2" pipe, it didn't even fit a 2.5" pipe; With this pipe diameter, there is no longer any thread to tighten the clamp. This was secured with a pair of oversized nuts. With this fix it worked.

Great suspension to keep your system in place. I don't use it for primary support, have bought heavier ones for that, but for corners where you just need some extra support I firmly believe it will hold up. If you use 3 of these mufflers on each side they will hold up well, just don't support a long system with only 1 clip and expect it to last for years. This exhaust hanger is just what the doctor ordered.
