It's important to know the best in Art Supplies & Tools

No texture brush included. I thought I would specifically buy the orange peel texturing kit but no. Brush or sponge or something else separately. You'd better buy a spray texture.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No

Not as far as advertised but very easy to use

I used 9 boxes on a 725m2 ceiling. ft. It was easy to stomp/roll. The hardest part was getting the same consistency as when mixing in a bucket. Much cheaper than buying ready mixed. Also, I bought some of these from Home Depot and I believe the boxes have been tampered with. There was a lot more mix in the Amazon boxes.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Negative experience

Vague instructions made it difficult to use

The instructions for mixing the solution could be much clearer. I ended up using the entire bag, which should be clear from the start. The application was ok, I used a roller but the finished product didn't look as good as I thought. I would not use this product again with a roller. Using an atomizer would probably be better.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons

Great ending! suitable for painting, wall treatment and accessories

Bought to give texture to the ceiling after removing the popcorn and it worked great! It has turned out much better than I expected and has fulfilled what I had hoped for. I can only recommend it and would buy it again! Note. I also bought one of those round texture brushes to use. I would use a texture brush to apply this and then use a spatula to smooth it out right after to give it a smooth, textured look. It came out great!

Stay away. Bad product.

This material was nothing but a headache. I bought several boxes of this material and installed it correctly on the walls. Although my walls are textured they have an issue with the primer/paint not wanting to stick to the texture. When I run my hand over the textured wall, my hand turns white with powder. Almost like flour covering my walls. When you prime/paint it, the powder prevents the paint from sticking to the wall and just peels off.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some difficulties

What a nightmare, good for painting, wall treatment and accessories

I used this with the Power Tex Texture Sprayer. Whatever consistency I used didn't work because the mixture is too sticky. Either it looks like someone spat on the wall or my texture gun kicked the crap out. I thought I was doing something wrong but I didn't see any other options since as mentioned I tried all the blending options. I then settled on a simple wall panel grout mix diluted with water and I was able to achieve the amazing results that I had come to expect from this mix.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Only available in black

I used a drill and mixing spatula to mix this powder and water to a thick consistency (for popcorn texture) in combination with Used Wagner texture spray. Gun and was very impressed with the texture it left on my practice drywall. Tomorrow is a real test run at a customer's house for a texturing patch that I've already fixed. Apparently it should be a piece of cake. And it's probably best to do it in small sprays at a time, allowing it to dry so it builds up slowly, rather than dripping watery.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Quality
