I like the finish. It took a bit of effort to install, but I don't mind because you can decide how you want the brackets to hang. Actually I plan to buy more because I love them so much. As you can see from a photo it holds a decent weight which I am very happy about. Also, the shelves themselves aren't heavy, so I didn't have to use reinforcement in the wall. Highly recommended!

They are a little narrower than I wanted but it was my fault for looking at so many shelves that I missed the width. I bought a larger set and am using them to complement another set and they look and work great. Installation is a bit more difficult because the mounting screw holes are difficult to access and cannot be installed with a drill. You have to do it the old fashioned way, mark, drill, with a screwdriver.

They were very easy to install. It only took about 2 hours - most of the time I was trying to find the perfect place to stay. They are a little smaller than I thought but I will say they are the strongest floating shelves I have ever used! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good set of floating shelves. I hung them for my small plants - PERFECT plant shelf!

These shelves are great. I have them in drywall with drywall anchors so I won't check their weight limit. The size of the panels corresponds to the size of the metal brackets when the brackets are over the panel. However, this means the brackets will stick out of the boards about 1/4 inch if you want the boards to be flush with the wall. That doesn't bother me, because floorboards that are flush with the wall ensure more stability. The shelves are quite narrow, so consider what items you place…

They look good and fit in a fair amount of books! A little tricky to install but it's all my fault. Wooden boards are very light, but at the same time durable. As other reviewers have said, they didn't come with pre-drilled holes for attaching brackets to wood. Having said that, it wasn't difficult at all to drive the screws into the wood since it's chipboard and the screws they give you are self-tapping screws (not the ones that screw into the wall). I really didn't expect much for the price. However, at the current price of wood, I took a chance instead of building my own shelves for my plants. I was pleasantly surprised that these are real wooden boards. I was expecting chipboard with imitation wood. I'm removing the star due to a lack of pre-drilled holes for the brackets, despite the instructions saying so. It wasn't a big problem, I have the tools to drill my own. The instructions were pretty much useless as leveling is a lot easier if
