My kitchen cabinets have a small wooden rim at the bottom. When I screwed the bottle holder directly onto the cabinet, the bottles did NOT fit in the space. I had to screw in a 1.5" piece of wood before installing the bottle cage. It would be nice if this item came with an extension for this type of closet.

It screws onto my baking rack, looks good and works very well. Delivered quickly with all accessories. My only complaint about it would be that the wine glass stem wasn't perfectly aligned and if I pressed hard the metal would pop out. But it was easy to bend and fit. I deduct a star for that.

I installed this under my cabinets and wanted to put a standard sized wine bottle on the shelf but it didn't fit. The rack needs to be lowered about 5/8-3/4 inches to make room for the bottle. The mounting screws are also about 1/8 inch longer because they go into the case. I strongly recommend not buying this stand.

When assembled the frame is not rigid and can be diamond shaped making it very difficult to align the screws for installation. We ended up marking where the holes needed to be on a piece of paper, taped them in place and used them as a guide to drill pilot holes for the screws. It doesn't fit thicker wine bottles like champagne bottles and some of my wider red wine bottles. The frames work great and once properly installed they look beautiful. This worked great for the limited space I was working with. It might seem flimsy at first, but once installed it's pretty durable. I had to use a piece of wood as a spacer so it was almost flush with the bottom front edge of the cabinets, otherwise it was impossible to get the bottles in and out. Here are my tips: 1.
