I live in Japan with absolutely limited outlets for US plug devices and this power strip works great! I have 3 and will be buying more. We don't have three prong outlets here in Japan, so they definitely help us plug in our devices!

The product looks cheap and can easily break or become a fire hazard. I checked out the reviews to see if there were any dangers and one said it melted the cable that connected to it. I feel I should return it as it will be in the kids room.

My house is 100 years old and many sockets are two-pronged. A regular linear bar will not work as it requires a three prong socket. This linear band is polarized with two contacts. just what i need The cable is the perfect length. This works great for my application.

VERY CHEAP FEELING! the plastic creaks and makes noise, and it's poorly assembled. If I squeezed it hard enough, the whole thing would just pop. Very disappointed, judging by the price I thought I was buying a top quality product. Far from it! This is a cheap Chinese product that doesn't even come in legal packaging.

This was perfect for an old house. You won't find many two-pronged strips, but this worked well. It even had USB charging ports and they seem to charge the phone just fine when other electronics are plugged into it. I only give 4 stars because of the price and since the description is not 100% clear, it is a surge protector.

If you want to plug a three-prong plug into an old two-prong outlet, this product will do the job. However, I would interpret "grounded" light with caution. Although it lights up I'm not sure how it can be grounded and in fact it doesn't seem to be grounded using the socket tester.
