Was surprised when I poured catnip on it and it felt right. Unlike most items, this one doesn't have a cover at the bottom (but does have it on the sides). What a waste. I actually sealed the bottom with duct tape, got more catnip, refilled, and now the kitty is happy!

It's so cool and the girls love it so much. Yes it's a low end scraper and it will crumble with use (which it's there for) but they are so cheap I don't mind buying a new one once the old one has drained. They love to lie on it and the raised ends are a plus for kitties to rest on.

We bought this after our cat got into the scratch lounge. We wanted to find another for a different part of the house. She still loves to knead and lean on him, but gets a little awkward when she tries to lay on him. We found the longer rectangular shape suited her better.

Our cats love the cat toy. It is ideal for cats to sharpen and play with their claws. I turn ours upside down (the opposite of how it is shown in the picture) and use it as a bridge for cats to get from one level to another. I highly recommend it, it's so much fun to play with cats.

Cats love it - even my clawed cat likes to pretend to scratch it. I have no idea why they both like to lie on it, but they do. It's cardboard and light weight - so yes it will move slightly but they don't seem to mind and just stand on it to make it stable. Any dirt can simply be vacuumed off. Worth every penny.

This is the second model I have bought. The resident Catwoman requested it, so she lounges on it, occasionally casually scratching it with her claws. So I just bought one for a kitten and even though he tinkers with it too, he vomits it every day. . It lasts several months. We'll see how soon I have to replace it. Of course I add some catnip every few days.

My cats love these things, especially round ones. However, I have recently found that my only cat is causing a horrible cough, sneeze and runny nose. After cleaning up all the cardboard scratches in my house, the symptoms went away. I suspect the cardboard is coated with some if not more chemicals. Glad you found out. However, I do not recommend this or any other product that does not conduct a pet safety study.

I keep reading reviews that this would be better for small cats and I disagree. My beast is 33 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail and weighs 20 pounds.
