I used it for my washing machine which was too big to fit in so it was long enough to wrap around the wall and from the washing machine up to hang on the floor to the wall drain...that's definitely 12 inches long and well worth it. durable plastic. Can be cut and customized

This hose leaked a few days after the rear window was closed. It happened right above the connection to the washing machine. At this point there was no stress or extreme flex, just cheap materials and/or build quality.
