This product is great. I've used a pumice stone in the past and it works great, but it does break and is a bit difficult to hold and use. This product is a little more durable than sticks because it's a block and thicker, and the grip makes it easier to reach those hard-to-reach places.

It was very difficult to get out of this thing. You have to pass over and over with LOTS of pressure to clear it and the rock is pretty soft. You will end up with more stones on the surface than on the ring you are trying to remove. After cleaning the quarter inch ring I had in the closet I was left with about two thirds of the stone.
