Waterproof Crib Flat Mattress QuickZip Review

I love this mattress topper and love that it works with the quick zip system. My son has been sleeping in his crib since he was 3 weeks old and I think this mattress topper has helped him get more comfortable without compromising his safety as it is too soft. I just wish it was a little bigger (mattress size) so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Mattress Pad is not manufactured by Quickzip, only sold by Quickzip. It doesn't have a zip edge to incorporate into the leaf system like I thought it would. Instead, it lies on top of the mattress and the sheets are fastened over the top of the mattress topper. However, the size fits well with the mattress and bed sheet. Haven't had any issues with this mattress pad so far and will be buying a few more to have extras in case one of them needs a wash.

I gave this product 3 stars because I didn't test the waterproofness as I will be returning it. I got it because people said it was too soft/plush. I wanted to make my baby's mattress a little softer and figured this might do the trick. Don't do it! In fact, it is very rough and thin. Also, it advertises 100% cotton but is actually filled with polyester (as shown in my picture) so they might not have a picture of the packaging. It's okay, but I think it's false advertising.

My child kept tearing regular sheets and since we were autistic it took us a little longer to use the potty. What I love most about these sheets is that I was able to not only fit the recommended waterproof padding, but also an extra waterproof sheet. I can't even tell if my kid tried to take them off. UPDATE: A customer service rep contacted us and said we must have received the wrong shipment. She swapped the pads. The replacement parts were much better but still not as washable as the other more expensive version of this pad. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a terrible product. First, the "natural" color is visible through QuickZip's white sheets. Pads get very swollen with washing which worries me when using them on an infant. They can be ironed in a horizontal position.
