I tried to buy a lot of outdoor candles but they didn't last long. This is the best I've ever ordered. The way they close the bottom is very tight and you don't have to worry about water entering them. I've had it for a while now and just had to change the batteries and use the remote to set it up again. These candles can withstand anything thrown at them from the outside. I hope they stay in stock so I can order them again if needed.

I only got these today so time will tell how they hold up but wanted to comment on how happy I am with the brightness. Some of these lights are very dim, but I wanted a bright light in our jack-o'-lanterns, which is great. It's a wonderfully soft white, but still bright, and you can turn it down if you need to. The remote seems to work well and the timer function has worked so far to set them, we'll see tomorrow if they come back at the same time. GREAT buy for the price.

I really like candles. However, the description says the remote works "from 10 to 20 feet away". (This is a direct quote from the description). It's just not true. I had to be close to the candles for the remote to work and it would only turn on one at a time. I am disappointed with this aspect of the candles. If the timer works properly (I just got them today so haven't tried the feature yet) it will make me a little happier. I'll update when I find out how this feature works.

My wife and I have seen and tried many fake candles over the years. They look amazing and while they don't look real with flames on top, they glow/shimmer in a way that just looks good. These candles look great when placed in a decorative candle holder. I wanted them to be placed on top of the large crystal candle holders and they obviously looked very fake. They have a terrible plastic sheen. And they don't even flicker like a real candle, and I double checked to make sure I selected the "flicker" option on the remote. They just glow and don't flicker!
