Efficient but noisy

wanted to cool some electronics but although it has good airflow it is too noisy. Ideally I should have gotten either a slower spinning fan or a larger fan that runs quieter

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here

Low noise, good flow

They move a decent amount of air and are almost inaudible. I used these as a VR headset cooler and was impressed with the results. Email me if you need 3D printable files.

Pros
  • Large selection

I'm a fan Computer Accessories & Peripherals

They're even quieter than I thought, like a soft whisper, but they have more airflow than those noisy handheld fans you see. at gas stations.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Safety

I still think the 40x40x10mm dual airflow capacity mod I bought from Wathai isn't bad for the configuration I had in mind. But the noise level is probably even more unstable than the 40x40x20 bought from them a year ago? I would recommend a possible 40 x 40 x 15mm modular upgrade, perhaps to overcome some of the vibrations of noise level instability and perhaps also to increase airflow by a few cubic feet per minute.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Useless Features

Cooling required! Best in USB Gadgets

I used a 12v 40mm fan on a voltage regulator (see image). It turned out to be ok but noisy. I bought this 60mm USB powered. It fits much better, airflow is about the same. Very little noise. The voltage regulator works cool. I was surprised that this set of 2 comes with two chrome trims. Didn't expect that. Try using a small wire tie to secure thin wire to the cabinet or trellis. If you move it, it will most likely break. I did that, no problem.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors

I still think twice the bandwidth of the 40x40x10mm module I bought from Wathai isn't bad for the configuration I had in mind .

Pros
  • USB Gadgets
Cons
  • Only available in white

Small functional USB fan

This is perfect for the needs I have planned. noise is minimal. RPM is a bit slower than I expected but very functional. This type of USB fan is commonly used with USB, and if you cut off the USB connector, you can use it with your own connectors. I took one, replaced the connector, connected it to the motherboard and routed it to the graphics card for power. more air for cooling. I placed one on the back of the PC case behind the graphics card vent to extract air and one in the hard drive bay.

Pros
  • computer and accessories
Cons
  • boring packaging
