Too bad there were screws or something. The way it is supposed to be assembled doesn't work at all. He understands easily. My 4 year old was able to take it apart by himself.

Actually it was much better and more than I imagined. I would definitely buy again. Set up was an easy 5 minute job and holds up well with my very active 11 month old.

Loved how easy it was to put together! I'm also happy with this purchase because it's made from recycled paper! I recycle all the time and to be able to turn around and buy something made by recyclers is awesome!

Although easy to assemble, it is mainly made of cardboard and its edges are distinctly white and look worn. Not worth $50. Gosh the $20 Walmarts were better quality. Unfortunately, it was the only black one I could find, so I didn't have much of a choice. Just better be patient.

I have bought several of these bookcases and they have been great and strong. It's not like this. I don't know what has changed in the design. I think they went with small squares instead of two long pieces. In any case, it doesn't last. I actually collected it THREE times and then just threw it in the trash.

Easy to assemble shelf. Glue can provide additional support, there are small wooden dowels and 3M tape to hold the shelf together. Will fit in the space I needed at the time, but a certain Scandinavian "Everyman" store has the same $20 billy and uses varnished chipboard with a hard exterior. I ordered because they have been on standby for the past 6-10 months. Some parts, not all, had odd gaps through which you could see the internal cardboard structure. Does it fit in the sketchbooks I wanted?

I bought this to store some fabric cubes and to hide miscellaneous stuff in my bedroom. It's pretty easy to fit together, but staying together is a different story. It's held in place with dowels and tape, which is flimsy at best. If you look at it wrong, it will fall apart. If you buy this, take some good glue, fill in the holes for the dowels, then insert the dowels. Make sure you have something to wipe off any excess glue. It's also a good idea to put it together where it's going to be used,
