I bought mine from the Revain warehouse and if it was cheaper it's because it actually is been used but no strong glue could fix. The product is easy to assemble, 2 minutes and you're done. I'd say it's about as durable as paper mache in some ways because it's reinforced recycled paper and not hardwood or engineered wood. I bought two to put the receiver on top and the blue bar below. I stacked 3 of these together to make laptop shelves (see image) with an MDF base to support the lower tier to hold larger items. Works well.
