Not working with Garmin Vivo Active? think again

So I was looking for a leather alternative to my silicone strap for my vivo active and didn't want to pay for Garmin straps. They said it was a 20mm strap, so why doesn't that strap work (well, Garmin would certainly prefer to lock me up to buy their straps)? I tried 20mm black leather despite warnings from the seller that these straps would not work. Well I took them and put them on and in fact they fell off as soon as I tried to put the watch on. Oh no! Watch Straps

Overall this is a pretty decent quality bracelet that I can see will last a while. My last band came with my watch (Skagen) and lasted about 6 years before I decided I'd had enough. On this barton I really appreciate the quick release of both halves of the strap as they made installation absolutely easy and the leather is comfortable and thick. However, the color of the espresso is much closer to gray than dark brown as the product photos led me to believe. I'll definitely be keeping this band…

Not suitable for watches

I've been wearing the belt for about a week. It's thin and light. Looks more like patent leather than the description says. Raised spots have formed on the strip which you can see in the picture I provided. You look a lot worse in real life. Especially in certain lighting conditions. I don't know if it's from water droplets when washing hands or what? But if that's the case, I've never seen that in a leather strap. It seems like it's only going to get worse. Great Value, Superior Customer Service

Pros: Pretty good for the price, quick release pins are easy to use, great customer service Cons: Doesn't work with my Seiko 5 SNK809, leather feels cheaper. The only reason I'm giving this belt 4 stars instead of slightly lower is because of Barton's excellent customer service. I know we should test the product, but if you don't like it or it's defective, Barton will do his best to fix it. When I received my strap it didn't fit the SNK809 for some reason.
