Just what I needed

Increasing the power of the ARLO system will greatly improve its performance. This cable was perfect - just make sure you have a USB power adapter as it doesn't come with it. The fit on the fork was perfect and the unit now runs at 100% all the time.

Suitable for outdoor use even in heavy rain

So far great in heavy rain. The one I used earlier wasn't designed for outdoor use and every time it rained it would fail to charge, eventually killing the battery. This one solved those problems!

bad publicity. This cable didn't charge my Arlo Pro 2

Selling something that doesn't work as advertised is wrong. let me spend my money I don't have time to go back and forth with returns, my time is more precious than that. That's why I buy online to save time.

Arlo Pro 2 security camera Weatherproof cable

Works great so far (about 1 week). Even after crushing it between the garage door and the weatherstrip. I've tried using longer cables from other manufacturers and they worked for a few days and then shut down. Decided to use an extension cord and plug in this shorter cord and it seems to help.

I accidentally broke my original cable and this replacement worked well for charging my cameras.

I accidentally damaged my original cable and this replacement cable worked fine to charge my cameras. I was suspicious of the occasional bad reviews, but the cable is flat, just like the original. I don't need a 90 degree connector on the end, but would be nice for those trying to permanently install the cable in the camera. I only use it as a charging cable.

Destroyed two batteries trying to charge my Arlo Pro 2 camera batteries

This cable failed to charge my camera battery after multiple attempts. I received an error message from the Arlo base station stating that the battery may be defective. So I tried charging the second camera and encountered the exact same problem. The reason I ordered from Weatherproof at Revain was that there was no stock on the Arlo website. That was a mistake - it was better to wait until the Arlo item was back in stock. Unfortunately, I now have to buy two new Arlo batteries in addition toโ€ฆ

Worked a few days and then died

I have learned that the Arlo camera requires the use of a weatherproof cable connector as the micro USB port on the camera is not designed for outdoor use rain and will quickly corrode if not securely locked or the correct cable connector is used. But unfortunately it isn't. This lasted only a few days until death. And it is difficult to plug it into the camera port. Hopefully Arlo's external charging cable will work better. So far, so good.
