Two batteries destroyed trying to charge my Arlo Pro 2 camera batteries

After repeated attempts, this cable failed to charge the camera battery. I received an error message from the Arlo base station stating that the battery may be defective. So I tried charging the second camera and encountered the exact same problem. The reason I ordered from Weatherproof at Revain was that there was no stock on the Arlo website. That was a mistake - it was better to wait until the Arlo item was back in stock. Unfortunately, I now have to buy two new Arlo batteries in addition to the charging cable.
