I love these reins

I love these reins. They are soft and the right length, unlike many wild reins that don't give you enough length to let go of the reins.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Extendable

Great reins in bridles and accessories

I was looking for rain bridles that would match my red white blue bride and they fit perfectly. I love these reins. I have the same ones and they are very good quality.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Simple, easy to use, durable

Use these on all our training horses and they tend to hold up well and make learning easier for our beginners. The knots help a lot and the adjustable length is comfortable.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not sure

Good reins, wrong color.

I haven't used it yet but I have it and I like it. The only problem is that the color I ordered doesn't match the color I received. If I had known they were that color I would definitely have chosen a different color.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Worn in a week but the color is cool.

They don't last up to a week with daily use. One of the dark brown strands is already frayed making it unusable for me as it cannot be trusted to be safe for my students. I am very disappointed and have never had this problem with other similarly priced nylon running reins that we use on all 28 horses in our program. Nice color combination but very disappointing.

Feels good in the hand but is a little short

My paint is 15 hands and the reins barely reach up and back to the saddle horn head. Forget letting her graze, because I'd have to drop the reins or climb down her hanging neck to let her do that. I suppose it would be fine for arena riding where you never let your horse hang your head, but for cross country riding where you need to stop and rest your horse from time to time you better plan your exit and stand you up. break because if your horse drops his head there's a good chance you'll lose…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some problems
