🛠️ Harley Big Twin Model Mainshaft Inner Bearing Race Puller/Installer Tool Kit for WeiSen Transmission (1984-2017 Compatible) Review

Built-in parts have no reverse thread and are standard thread. This tool is only good for removal (sort of). It was still a problem for me to put the removal tool on, but it worked in the end.

Product used as intended. The bolts are bent and the center pulled out of the puller. I even warmed up the race first. The assembly tool is too small and has a right-hand thread. I should have known better than to buy Chinese crap don't waste your money!

The tool arrived unusable as a puller due to a bent bolt. I straightened the bolt with a press but didn't try to use it as a puller. The tool also lacked the part that screws onto the main shaft to function as a press. Got a replacement that worked adequately as a press for the bearing ring.

Remover worked great. The installer is not very good. It should be screwed onto the transmission mainshaft with a 3/4-18 left hand thread. The tool had a right-hand thread. When it comes to installing a bearing ring, you just use a propane torch to heat it up a bit and it just drops straight onto the shaft, so an installation tool isn't strictly necessary.

To be honest I was skeptical that this puller/installer would do anything. To my surprise, the puller jaw fitted perfectly and easily pulled off the old primary bearing inner race. The installer worked just as well to set up the new IPB race. I really had to hunt threads about all the components of the kit but overall I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to save money.
