Professional welding mask TECMEN ADF730S TM15 with optical class 1/1/1/1 with a visor in TM15 design is designed to protect the eyes and face from sparks, spatter and harmful radiation of the welding arc when welding in TIG, Plasma, MIG-MAG, MMA, gas welding. Automatic light filter TECMEN ADF730S 3.5/5-8/9-13 has two dimming ranges. The initial dimming is 3.5DIN. The degree of dimming is smoothly adjustable from 5DIN to 8DIN in the first range and from 9DIN to 13DIN in the second. Protection against UV / IR radiation permanently 16DIN. The light filter is automatically darkened when the welding arc is ignited and automatically returns to its original state (transparent) after welding is completed. It has smooth adjustments of response sensitivity and return time to the initial state. It has a "TEST" button for testing the light filter. All adjustments (except TEST) are external. The enlarged viewing window 95x62mm provides a wide field of view, when installing dioptric lenses, there is a free slot for viewing distant details, similar to looking over reading glasses. The front side of the light filter has an aluminum pad for thermal protection during long-term welding and at high currents. Thanks to four optical sensors and high sensitivity, TIG welding at low currents is possible. TIG rating is ≥2A (DC) ≥2A (AC). Great product, best quality.

Vanya "TigHong Kong" hello, it was his opinion that was decisive in the choice. I recommend it for purchase as a great option if you want to save your eyes when welding at low currents and welding that requires a high filter response speed, but at the same time you do not aim at sentinel and optrel.

Pros
  • The mask came in perfect condition, assembled, complete, the battery is charged, the storage bag is soft, it will protect against dust and other things. After a little fiddling with the fit, it was ready to go out of the box.

Turning on the cleaning mode with adjustable sensitivity (you need to set it to zero), the twist is small, you need to take off your gloves, but I just can't remember which way to turn it, the previous mask 615 from Tecmen, despite the fact that the younger model was more convenient - there the twist was one placed on the side of the mask - dimming adjustment and it switched to the stripping mode with a noticeable click. Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

It seems to function first for the sound and then the light since when I hit the button, it immediately begins to dim. However, it could be that I have the burner in the incorrect position because when I press the button, there is no arc but the mask is still dim, and I need to wait till it brightens up before I can use it. I'm not sure whether this is a flaw or a benefit, but I didn't manage to bag even a single rabbit during my hunt.
