This is the best Wella color I've ever used! Please never stop making this product. I use 6NN on my roots every 3 weeks and my hair is 75% gray. These images are in color. no additives or toners. Works great with my natural hair, the color is perfect! Wella's home run!

This is a very nice color that is easy to mix, apply and rinse off. I haven't noticed much bleeding or a very strong odor, and the color holds up very well through the fading period. I don't have to repaint as often. See color photo taken 7 days after dyeing. Update: My hair unfortunately faded fairly quickly so keep that in mind if you don't want your hair color to be heavily maintained.

1 star deducted because I ordered four boxes of Wella Tango Color 8R but received three 8R and one 6R instead. This isn't a mistake for me as I don't mind stocking a box of 6R's but the order wasn't quite right. otherwise everything is fine, item arrived undamaged.

I really liked how this 4NB color turned out. I used it to cover hair that was in different stages of coloring. It completely covered the red shade I had! Will definitely buy again! I used Developer 20 for 30 minutes with it.

This review is for IC Slate use alone. I lightened the test strand to a level 7-8 orange blonde. Applied separately (w 15 volume) as a toner. I do not recommend. The color turned very green, like highlights in a pool of choline all summer. Orange and blue make brown, but I think it's better for neutralizing red or adding red or purple tones for yellow to orange hair. Please do not use it on a level 10-12 blonde without a test strand. I was very disappointed I had 6NN prior to this purchase which due to my red to auburn hair gave a very natural brown with a slight red cast. 6NN was the perfect natural shade but I was recommended 5BB, left it on for 20 minutes and my hair was black in 10 minutes. This 5BB shade is literally a brownish black, which I didn't want at all. It's too dark for me and now I need to figure out how to get back to level 6 brown without bleaching and damage. Let me start by saying that my hairstylist sister WARNED me not to buy this and I didn't listen. The color is far from the advertised color. I started with an ash blonde and a light shadow root. My intention was to turn the blonde into a grayer shade (hence the slate color). If you follow the instructions for the letter T, the end result is a DARK BROWN with a GREEN TINT - my hair is GREEN.
