Wella Natural Brown Permanent Color Review

I have been using another toner for many years and they have withdrawn it from sale. Dan! I tried several brands and blondes were difficult. They left my hair coppery and/or yellow. Not what I wanted. I love Natural Blonde for its sheer base. So no blue and ash making my hair gray or yellow making my hair orange or yellow. Wow! 5 star product. I bought the shade 8A Light Ash Blonde to use for the highlights I did myself after dying my hair too dark. Thank you to a previous reviewer who showed the actual color of this product on his hair. This helped me decide on the color because I didn't want my highlights to look witchy. I think the color will lighten over time. Very easy to use and apply. Smells great too and makes my hair very soft. Simply mix 1 part color with 2 parts Wellas Developer.

This was my first time using the Wella Color Charm and it definitely worked to hide my gray hair. I have naturally black hair so I bought black. I have a very thick textured brawl so I ended up using an ounce and a half and 6 ounces of activator. It took me about 15 minutes to apply and I left it on for 30 minutes afterward. I continued with my Aveda products and they came out great. Excellent coverage, soft and easy to work with.

This demi-permanent card was SOME levels too dark. I ordered a light ash blonde and used Demi Perm Activating Lotion. It has turned light brown. I was shocked. I know Demi Perm can get darker so I was prepared for that. but it was several shades too dark. Luckily, over time, it went away, but not entirely. Pros: blends easily, can use as much as you like, affordable price Cons: came out a lot darker than I expected while keeping its balayage look . It completely covered the brass - but too much! The new color almost blends in with my brown tones. Attached is a photo showing the hair is lighter, the previous color and the new color. Overall, I still think the color is decent! But if I could go back, I would choose the next lighter shade.
