Very simple but works with a little modification. The hook at the top of the glass is actually quite deep (for very thick glass I think) and the screw is short so it doesn't work as supplied for my glass thickness. (Not that I screwed directly onto the glass anyway.). So I wrapped the long piece inside with high strength 2-ply foam tape, taped it to the front of the glass, then slipped a small piece of rubber (furniture protection squares) under the screw and tightened.
